Write to Be is a nonprofit empowering Haitian girls and women to be fearless authors of their lives through the Fi Ki Fò and Famn Ki Fò programs. 🇭🇹🇭🇹 Equipping girls and women to be fearless authors of their own lives. We believe that all girls deserve opportunities and resources to develop independence and agency in their own lives and in turn, embrace active and impactful roles in their communities. Through positive relationships, educational support, skills training, and community engagement, we create a framework for self-discovery and empowerment that equips girls with the tools to be fearless authors of their lives.

Write To Be Equipping girls to be fearless authors of their own lives. Write to Be started as a pen pal program between American women and Haitian girls in 2015. Since then it has helped more than 100 women and girls in Les Cayes Haiti overcome barriers through dedicated education and empowerment programs community engagement and financial support enabling them to unlock their potential and thrive on their own terms. We envision a world where girls realize their full potential to become agents of positive change and the world recognizes their value.
