The Seabrook Island Natural History Group explores the ecology, history and culture of the South Carolina Lowcountry. The primary exempt purpose of the Seabrook Island Natural History Group (SINHG) is to disseminate natural history and cultural history information about Charleston and the Low Country to its members through field trips and lectures. In addition, the Group provides the opportunity for members to informally share their experiences through special events. The group encourages education in their Johns Island community by providing grants to organizations focusing on education, the environment and local history.
