VIRGINIA NEEDS SAVING while northern virginia has a wealth of resources and a rich rescue community our shelters just a few hours away are faced with euthanizing for space breed discrimination and treatable illnesses. join us in our efforts to extend a lifeline to these vulnerable animals and create a compassionate statewide network of care. NPA was founded in 2016 with a mission to enable shelters to save more lives. After 7 years of rescuing over 1900 animals from shelters and finding them loving homes we realized it was time to take a step back and reassess our approach.
