THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING, BENEFITING, PROMOTING, SUPPORTING, ENCOURAGING, MAINTAINING, MANAGING AND PERPETUATING EYE-CARE CLINICS, OFFICES, LABORATORIES (CLINICS), AND/OR UNITS IN NATIONS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND IT IS INTENDED THAT IT SHALL MAINTAIN A SIGNIFICANT INVOLVEMENT IN THE AFFAIRS OF SAID CLINICS. THE PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION ARE TWO FOLD: ONE IS TO PROVIDE SOME FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THE SPECIFIC PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS OF ANY TYPE IT CONSIDERS APPROPRIATE AND TWO, TO ASSIST THE CLINIC IN WAYS TO MAKE IT MORE VALUABLE TO THE NATIONS WITHIN WHICH IT HAS A PRESENCE.
