We preserve the history of Old Sumter District. Temple Sinai Jewish History Center teaches about Jewish life in South Carolina, Sumter and the Holocaust. We explore historical experiences through programs and exhibits that allow all of us to inform and shape our future. The Sumter County Museum consists of the Williams Brice House, Heritage Education Center, Carolina Backcountry Homestead, Martha Brice Gardens, and Temple Sinai Jewish History Center.
