Home Since its formation in 1964 the organization has been engaged in programs to help improve the quality of life for thousands of people living in and around the Appalachian region. For over fifty years the Appalachian Council Inc. has provided education training and a wide range of human resource development programs throughout the region. Our programs have included comprehensive child development career transitionplacement vocational training and employee assistance programs.
