What an amazing day! Wishers and Dreamers had the honor of handing out our gowns and teddy bears at the Teddy Bear Clinic for Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital (LLUCH) at their 40th Annual Children’s Day. Teddy Bear Clinic, where children engaged with clinic staff while their stuffed companions underwent "medical examinations," learning valuable insights into the significance of each aspect of the exam. Thank you to all the Teddy Bear Donors. We gave 750 children gowns and helped them dress their teddy bears. Thank you to the Volunteers that made the cute gowns, packaged, and prepared the bears for the clinic. Thank you to Sandy, Christina, Barney, and Maria for helping dress all those bears and stuffed animals. Thank you to Loma Linda Nursing School students and staff that taught the children about their health and their bears health. Dorothy with LLUCH wrote: “Thank you to Wishers and Dreamers (Pamela and team) for adding to our Teddy Bear Clinic. We read “nice addition” from those who filled in their ballot forms and those coming from your booth.” The children completed the “Best Booth Award Ballot” again this year.
