NACLN - National Association of Civil Law Notaries NACLN National Association of Civil Law Notaries The National Association of CivilLaw Notaries was founded in 1998 by a group of lawyers who saw the need for stronger legal security and dispute prevention in legal transactions. NACLNs efforts led to the adoption and improvement of state civillaw notary statutes and have advanced the development of civillaw notary practice in the United States. Our organization aims to provide the highest level of professional development and advocacy for civillaw notaries in the United States including training examination continuing legal education and practice news. We realize our mission through a multistep approach We provide the highest quality of notarial training to candidate civillaw notaries all of whom must by law be lawyers authorized to practice law.
