Souza's Sanctuary Mission Statement: Our goal is to provide excellent care for rescue, escapee/ recaptured and surrender birds interim to finding long term and hopefully “forever" homes for them. Our facility will include care for both hookbill psittacines. This requires proper housing, and food for many types with the goal being communal and natural. Large flight type enclosures will be our main housing. New homes will be pursued by application and screening. For those birds that cannot be re-homed to provide a rest of life home at our sanctuary.
