The WNY Bootcamp Foundation is 100% non-profit 501(c)3 EIN# 46-5586651 organization. The WNY Boot Camp Foundation has been established to honor this oath, our code. We stand on the wall when the enemy is at the gate, and we protect those within from harm. We sacrifice much and expect little in return. Soldiers start as individuals, but our struggles and trials bring us together to consider each other brothers and sisters, friends, family. We learn to trust each other and band together in our commitments, forging a lifelong bond.In my life as a citizen soldier, I have recognized a new target, one of utmost domestic importance: the personal health of our nation's citizens, particularly my fellow citizen soldiers who have given so much for their country. The epidemic of obesity has the potential to reduce our nation to its knees. This is a campaign not of combat, but of education and outreach. Serving our nation in this manner is something a soldier is well-suited for.Many future, current, and former service men and women need education on appropriate fitness and nutrition as well as facilities to accommodate their fitness needs and to provide assistance in reaching their fitness goals. Many also require rehabilitation due to injury or illness. The needs of soldiers differ from one person to the next, but also depending on the phase of their military involvement. Future soldiers, those preparing to enlist or to train as officers benefit immensely from focused training aimed at preparing them for the rigors of military life. Soldiers who are no longer on active duty have a different set of needs. They need to retrain their bodies for civilian life, which usually includes drastic changes to their diet and exercise patterns. Actively serving soldiers can benefit from having a home base to visit when on leave, a place of camaraderie and support. One of the most important codes that soldiers live by is that we leave no soldier behind. To that end, this foundation is established to help address the continuing needs of our fellow soldiers and the citizens we serve. Join us as we lead the way!
