Friends of the Shasta River
We are focused on returning instream flows to the Shasta River by balancing the needs of the river with the use of water for irrigation. The Shasta River was once the most prolific salmon streams in the Klamath watershed. Agricultural diversions of cold spring water has impaired the ability of this river to produce the salmon it once hosted. Our goal is to find solutions that satisfy the needs of all users and restores this river to its once bountiful state for anadromous fishes.
