The Foster and Adoption Coalition of Nevada is a 501(c)3 organization that passionately recruits, educates and supports foster parents in Nevada. We understand the importance of the family dinner table and use it as a model to speak to those interested in foster care and give them ideas as to how they how they can get involved by fostering or supporting those that do.We educate Nevada's citizens, media members and public officials on Foster Care related issues. When asked, FACofNV provides subject matter experts to testify before legislators in Carson City or local government entities. We provide Legislative Overview sessions for our members and those concerned about foster children and families in Nevada prior to each legislative session so they understand the bills and their positive or negative impact on the foster community. FACofNV makes it as easy as we can to engage your legislators and give you a voice in the process. We keep our members updated on national legislation that impacts foster families like the continued fight for the Adoption Credit and Prudent Parenting legislation.
