Last week on Wednesday, April 30, Chicago Artists Coalition’s Executive Director Brookes Ebetsch joined @artsallianceil to attend Capitol Day in Springfield, where advocates from across the state gathered to strategize and attend meetings with legislators. This year, nearly 150 arts advocates from all over Illinois participated. There, she was fortunate to meet with Representative Omar Williams, who shared his interest in doing what he can to help create a more stable and equitable arts landscape across Illinois.
