May is Mental Health Awareness Month. According to the Learning Disabilities Association of America, people with learning disabilities are more likely to be diagnosed with a mental health disorder, and studies have found that students with LDs expressed more loneliness and were less social than their peers. We know from talking to so many Iowa parents that the mental health of kids with #dyslexia is a huge concern! We can't address dyslexia without addressing mental health. (fb)
