Needy families and individuals in our community go without proper food every day due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, and age. While all of us are susceptible to hard times, the residents in the Baldwin, Hancock and surrounding areas have experienced the greatest economic lost that we have seen in years due to the massive layoffs and industrial closings.The specific purpose for which the corporation is initially organized is to serve our local community by providing food banks, informational resources, programs that teach life skills and basic job/interview skills, mentorship for youth, to produce and distribute Christian literature and spiritual counseling
