Today we had another surprise, two more adoptions!! Congratulations to Jedi, Jamie and their new family! There is nothing better than leaving the rescue with a friend! Boy do we have a story to tell you!! It’s 9:00 and Jen is about to go to sleep when her phone messages are going off and a phone call. It was the employees of Loves truck stop on cr17. They found a batch of kittens under their dumpster. If anyone knows anything about dumpsters they have a track in which the dumpster has to attach to. The truck today would have crushed them, for they were on the track. Six helpless kittens laid out in the pouring rain. There are a few feral moms out there and the employees will now try to get them spayed. Two of the six babies look extremely small compared to the rest of them. We will have to evaluate what is going on with them. They haven’t come to the rescue yet as of this morning because our wonderful bottlefeeder foster Crystal picked them up at 10:00 at night. These are situations were we feel helpless and feel compelled to help. This is why we are asking for more fosters and monetary donations to help with their spays and neuters when they get a little older. Please help us, help them. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
