THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO CERTIFY ANIMAL CARE PROFESSIONALS IN ORDER TO ENABLE THE PUBLIC TO IDENTIFY QUALIFIED ANIMAL CARE PROFESSIONALS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES AND TO DEVELOP STANDARDS IN THE FIELD OF ANIMAL CARE.

Independent certification is an important step for a rapidly growing easytoenter industry frequently damaged by news reports of serious pet accidents and deaths. Professionals that pass stringent testing which reflects a professionals broad base knowledge of animal care will receive a 3year certification.
