Happy Evergreen Day! Lower and Upper School students joined together to learn about local non-profit organizations in our community and discover ways to give back. The morning began with a Lower School assembly, where Eagles with a Purpose students read a book aloud, followed by a slate of fun, hands-on eco-activities and lessons led by the high schoolers. Congratulations to Joelle Johnson' 25 who was named 2025 MIAA C-Conference Athlete of the Year! This is the second time that Joelle has received this honor, and is especially remarkable as Joelle is a female athlete competing in a men's league where female competitors are required to tee off from the men's tee. Over her years on the team Joelle has led the Eagles to back-to-back championship titles, narrowly missing a third this year. Outside of school, Joelle has competed twice in the Mack Champ Invitational, finishing in a tie for 15th this year. Joelle is ranked No. 1 in the state of Maryland for class of 2025 girls, and last spring she won the Peggy Kirk Bell Open Championship. Joelle will continue her academic and athletic career at Bucknell University next year. Way to soar Joelle! #creekpride #euge (fb)
