My Second Home Rescue Home Adoptable Dogs FAQs Adoption Info Foster Donate Contact Us More My Second Home Rescue Welcome to My Second Home Rescue Our Mission My Second Home is a nokill organization whose mission is to rescue and rehome stray neglected and abandoned dogs in high kill shelters especially those facing euthanasia due to over population in these shelters. Our goal is to also supply needed care medical attention including being spayedneutered vaccinated microchipped to provide them with resocialization and to place them in permanent adoptive homes where they will be properly cared for and become part of the family. We strive to increase public awareness and educate them of the overpopulation problem and finding ways to end the euthanasia of so many animals. We believe that all living creatures should be treated with dignity and respect.

Welcome Santana to MSHRβs family. This little fighter arrived from a high intake shelter with a broken leg and a tough road ahead. But thanks to the love and care from Rescued Pets Movement, MSHR and a couple amazing foster homes, Santana had his leg amputated and is now thriving as a happy, pain-free tripod pup.
