Our mission and purpose is to help rescue homeless, abused, neglected, sick cocker spaniels by providing refuge, foster care, medical care, rehabilitation and socialization, and to provide financial assistance to other cocker spaniel rescxue groups with special needs dogs in order to provide financial aid for their medical/veterinary care. The mission of our division Cocker Angels Rescue Aid Fund is to assist Cocker Spaniel rescue organizations with medical care and other extraordinary expenses required by their rescue dogs through financial grants to the cocker spaniel rescue. Founded in 2001 and granted non-profit status in 2004, Betsy's Cocker Place, Inc. and our division, Cocker Angels Rescue Aid Fund, are a network of volunteers throughout the United States. Companion cocker spaniels, other cocker spaniel rescue organizations and other dogs receive financial assistance for medical care and surgery, spay/neuter, heartworm and other tests, and appropriate vaccines. Our fostering of dogs allows the dog to re-acclimate to a home environment. Each dog is temperament tested and placed with adoptive families matched to the dog's temperament.
