Western Virginia Foundation for the Arts and Sciences
Arts and Cultural Complex located in downtown Roanoke. Center in the Square building is open Mon - Fri 10am-5 pm, Sat 10am-8pm, Sun 1-6pm. The Western Virginia Foundation for the Arts and Sciences, operating as Center in the Square, supports the arts and sciences in western and central Virginia by supplying free housing, utilities, security, building maintenance, marketing and custodial services for seven cultural organizations: three museums (art, history and science), three professional performing arts companies (theatre, opera, and dance) and the region's arts council. Center in the Square, a 501(c)(3)organization, donates services for these organizations.
