Sixty agencies across Californias fiftyeight counties strive to create opportunities to overcome the causes and conditions of poverty and help communities and families of lowincome reach selfsustainability. For nearly 60 years Community Action Agencies have administered locally developed programs to meet the unique needs of each community. With over 20000 combined employees across the state the independent 501c3 nonprofit organizations and county agencies have administered over 1 billion in resources annually with a holistic approach to poverty solutions.
