Home of Champions
The Home of Champions (HoC) is a New York State based program identifying potential leaders among disconnected foster care youth, and providing the support necessary for them to achieve their full potential as strong role-models and productive members of society. The program will focus on youth who have transitioned out of foster care and have been accepted into college on their own merit. This initiative is extremely important and timely as 18-24% of college-aged foster care youth are enrolled in college in NY State, but only 3 % graduate.
