The Delta Housing Corporation of the District of Columbia (DHCDC) is a non-profit, tax exempt corporation that focuses on providing affordable housing for elderly and disabled individuals. DHCDC was organized in 1975 and incorporated in 1977 by members of the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

FORTITUDE AT DELTA TOWERS DEEPLY ROOTED DHCDC has long maintained a trailblazing presence in the Trinidad community of Washington DC. Beginning in 1975 with construction of Delta Towers we continue our mission with the development of Fortitude at Delta Towers. HISTORICAL MISSION Delta Towers was the first housing project for seniors built in the H Street renewal area after the devastating 1968 riots and was at the time the first and only building of its kind developed by a group of Black women.
