We are volunteer nonprofit animal welfare organization in Maryland. For nearly 50 years, the PGSPCA has helped the DC-area cats & dogsand the people who care about them. We are located in the USA. We are a nonprofit organization of volunteers dedicated to animal welfare. Our activities are supported solely by contributions, dues and fundraising events. We have three main objectives:To reduce pet overpopulation through our progressive spay/neuter program;To prevent animal cruelty, neglect, and suffering through our investigations, legal action, affordable vaccinations, and an active dog and cat adoption program;To promote animal-friendly public policy through humane education.
