Building livable cities for NC’s future THE COALITION DEVELOPS AND ADVOCATES FOR PUBLIC POLICY THAT PROMOTES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, TRANSPORTATION, PUBLIC SAFETY, AND OTHER ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE URBAN AREAS OF NORTH CAROLINA AS LIVABLE, ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND, AND ECONOMICALLY VIABLE CENTERS. THE FEES COLLECTED FROM MEMBER MUNICIPALITIES AND THE EARNINGS THEREON ARE USED TO INFLUENCE PUBLIC AND POLITICAL OPINION, AND TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP POLICIES, RULES, AND LEGISLATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACHIEVING THESE GOALS.
