Este 14 de agosto fueron brutalmente agredidas y arrestadas Damas de Blanco activistas de Federacion Latinoamericana de Mujeres Rurales FLAMUR Partido Republicano de Cuba PRC Impacto Juvenil Republicano IJR Damas de Apoyo Periodista Independientes PI esposas de presos Damas de Blanco por las fuerzas represivas del Ministerio del Interior cuando se disponian a participar en la misa de este domingo en la Catedral de Santiago de Cuba. Segun la informacion brindada los activistas opositores fueron golpeados por agentes de la Seguridad del Estado en la ciudad de El Cristo las agredieron y arrastraron hacia carros de la policia del regimen donde fueron golpeadas. Al menos 20 mujeres fueron arrestadas.
