Home - VA Hope Fund Main Navigation Home Hope Fund is a resource to give lowincome cancer patients emergency shortterm financial help so that they can move on with their lives at a time when taking care of themselves is critical. During the period of cancer diagnosis and treatment patients deal with a tremendous amount of stress. They must absorb and understand new information make decisions get to doctors appointments and treatments and tolerate side effects. At a time when many patients are dealing with their own mortality having to worry about financial issues can add an unmanageable burden.
