COVID19 RELIEF EFFORT Partnership for Shelter Animals NYClaunchedThe Hungry Pet Projectin April 2020 to help pet owners in financial crisis feed their pets during the pandemic. By providing pet food we hope to keep pets in their homes rather than being surrendered to a shelter or worse abandoned to the streets. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves or feeding their pets. During the first 7 months of operation we distributed more than 20000worthof pet food through our food pantry partners as well as helping home bound owners in need.
