We are dedicated to addressing educational and health disparities so young people, from historically marginalized communities, can thrive. Ordinarie Heroes, a Black-led nonprofit organization, is dedicated to addressing educational and health disparities within under-resourced communities so young people can not only overcome immediate challenges but also thrive in the long term. The IE in our name stands for I'm Enough because we believe ordinary people can create real change. Through creative skills-based education, collaborative leadership development, and holistic well-being, our mission is to empower young people from historically marginalized communities. We're committed to the belief that addressing the issues faced in their communities goes hand in hand with breaking the cycle of systemic disadvantage, healing the wounds of trauma, and creating a brighter narrative for young people.
