Johann Christian Bach: Operas and Dramatic Works is an editorial and publishing project of The Packard Humanities Institute. Its goal is to make available, in both printed and digital formats, a critical edition of the composer’s operas, one oratorio, and cantatas. The azione teatrale, Amor vincitore, is now available (see jcbach.org for more information). This piece will be performed at the Schwetzingen Festival at the end of May. (fb)

The ABS produces Bach Notes and Bach Perspectives sponsors a biennial meeting and conference and offers grants and prizes for research on Bach. Information on membership is available here along with a short history of the Society and information on its administration.
