Enhancing the lives of older adults in the communityCharleston Area Senior Citizens Services, Inc. (CASCS) has served older adults in Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester Counties since 1967, founded under the organizational leadership of Nicholas J. Sottile, founding Chairman. CASCS operates Meals on Wheels of Charleston and provides community based services and subsidized housing for homeless seniors. Senior nutrition through food distribution is CASCS's primary service. Home delivered meals is the largest program offered, supplemented by 30 Day Emergency Food Boxes, and Congregate Dining. CASCS provides #OneHotMeal Monday through Friday, as well as, a visual safety check conducted by the Meals on Wheels Delivery Technician.
