ELLIES RAINY DAY FUND INC
Ellie’s Rainy Day Fund's mission is to protect the love shared between Miami Valley families and their pets by funding emergency and specialty veterinary services for financially challenged families. We target families in which the animal plays a vital role such as: elderly persons where the pet is their sole companion; special needs children where the pet enables more complete functioning and interaction in the world; people with health challenges such as cancer where the pet provides essential comfort. We are the only area organization that focuses on funding costly emergency/specialty needs to help families to keep their medically-challenged pets in the face of financial hardship. We do this by partnering with veterinarians to offset the cost of services.
