We are very excited to welcome speaker Cynthia Williams Resor to the Hopewell Museum this Saturday, the 31st, for her talk "Fancywork: Needlework, Quilting, and Crafts in the 1800s." As a continuation of the wonderful "One Stitch After Another" exhibit on display now until early September, "Fancywork" will cover the social, economic and political influences on the very works you can view at the Hopewell.
