The Richmond Area Arts Council is a dynamic organization that creates a passion for the arts. The Richmond Area Arts Council offers performing and visual art programs for residents of all ages. We are a philanthropic and altruistic organization. We strive to bring art to the community. Mission StatementThe Richmond Area Arts Council (RAAC), in partnership with the community, enriches the quality of life for area residents of all ages by providing educational opportunities, presenting art forms, promoting artists and art groups, and guiding advancement of the arts.Programs and ServicesThe Richmond Area Arts Council offers performing and visual art programs for residents of all ages. In addition to 20 performing art events each year, we provide an extensive educational program for youth and adults. As part of the Richmond community, the Richmond Area Arts Council partners with various community groups including the Madison County Schools, local businesses and other charitable organizations to provide quality programming and educational opportunities for residents of all ages.

Home | Richmond Area Arts Council Main navigation About the Richmond Area Arts Council The Richmond Area Arts Council RAAC supports the cultural development of the city of Richmond KY by advocating for and creating the highest quality artistic and educational opportunities for residents and visitors. We believe an active arts council within the community and region allows for business to flourish and provides a rich cultural environment for citizens. The Richmond Area Arts Council offers many arts activities for children and adults within our community. The RAAC has partnered with the Madison County Schools to expand the Arts Education Program to provide safe and funfilled class for hundreds of children to participate in after school and during the summer.
