2012 The Pittsburgh Academy of Chinese Culture and Language PACCL was founded in 2012 by seven Chineseborn individuals who wanted to introduce and celebrate Chinese culture in the Northern suburbs of the city of Pittsburgh. The school expanded rapidly from holding only one class in one of the founder39s basement to hosting several levels of classes at a local facility provided generously by the North Hills Reformed Presbyterian Church. The goal of PACCL is to promote and preserve Chinese culture through teaching of the Mandarin language as well as the Chinese cultural traditions. We welcome students of all ages.
