Our Main Event: Sun Fiesta held in October in downtown Venice FL Sertoma exists for the high and noble purpose of SERvice TO MAnkind by communication of thoughts, ideas and concepts to accelerate human progress in health, education, freedom and democracy. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, the organization was founded on April 11, 1912. Over the years, individual members have brought forward their talents and joined the collective experience of thousands to chart a unique course of action for community service.

Founded in Kansas City Missouri on April 11 1912 our organization has harnessed the talents and collective experiences of countless individuals to create a meaningful impact in community service. Since its inception in January 1989 the Womens Sertoma Club of Venice has proudly contributed over 1 million to support local needs. Our signature event the annual Sun Fiesta has been a cherished tradition since 1994 bringing the community together for one last celebration before the winter months.
