Jennifer Martinez Executive Director of the Altama Museum of Art and History In December 2021 Georgia Humanities awarded more than 1. 03 million in Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan SHARP grants to 78 museums libraries historical societies higher education institutions and other cultural organizations around the state. SHARP funds made it possible for recipients to deliver programs sustain operations and build capacity to recover from the effects of the pandemic and they helped save 184 jobs.
