The 2025 National History Day Georgia State Contest brought together more than 500 students, 80 teachers, 100 volunteers, and 2,000 friends and family members at LaGrange College to celebrate our students' curiosity, resilience, and passion for the past. This year's contest was especially meaningful. Just weeks before, we lost the federal funding that helps make programs like NHD Georgia possible. But we're not giving up.
