Our mission is to preserve & restore the Jayhawk Theatre, the official State Theatre of Kansas. The Jayhawk Theatre is owned and operated by the members of the board of the Historic Jayhawk Theatre, Inc. a 501(c3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve, rehabilitate, restore, maintain and operate the Jayhawk Theatre, the last remaining historic theatre in Topeka.

EVENTS Before closing for restoration the Jayhawk Theatre regularly hosted a variety of exciting events including live music comedy dance film screenings and more. Stay tuned as we expand our capacity and work to bring more amazing shows to the Historic Jayhawk Theatre. RENTALS ABOUT From 19261976 this iconic Movie Palace was a beloved hotspot for entertainment. Thanks to many dedicated supporters momentum is underway to restore the theater to its former glory.
