PROJECT ALOFA
Mission Statement: To support the reintegration of individuals back into society. To educate public, family, friends and inmates on the sensitivity and importance of the struggles of reintegrating back into society. To promote awareness for those who have been incarcerated and to create opportunities for reintegration through our organization's services" Purpose. Project ALOFA is organized exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes. The purpose of this nonprofit is: • to promote civil rights among the Pacific Islander and Asian communities and allies; • to promote civil rights for individuals and families who have been incarcerated, marginalized communities and allies, through our Ambassadorship Program and joint projects. • to support and conduct non-partisan research, education, and informational activities; to increase public awareness of LGBTQIA issues, incarceration, drug use, homelessness and mental health; • to encourage educational and vocational goals of exceptional individuals through scholarship opportunities as well as those with circumstances that place them at a disadvantage.
