170-year young, cause-driven non-profit strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility programs at 17+ sites Cause-driven non-profit established in 1852 supporting community-strengthening regional sites, programs and initiatives in the DMV and as a part of the nationwide Y movement. The mission of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) of Metropolitan Washington is to foster the spiritual, mental, and physical development of individuals, families, and communities according to the ideals of inclusiveness, equality, and mutual respect for all.
