We are proud to recognize another one of our amazing seniors today, Alex Gramp! Alex came to Reach seven years ago for the flexible learning pace we offer. Since being a part of the Reach community, Alex has continued to excel as a talented musician playing both the piano and violin. He has won a merit piano competition and was the recipient of the Marth B. Buckey Scholarship at the Cumberland Valley School of Music. On top of the music success, Alex has also maintained a high GPA in school, has taken General University Requirement classes through Reach’s dual enrollment program at Harrisburg Area Community College, and will be attending West Chester University this fall! Alex is most thankful to his teachers that have encouraged and allowed him to pursue his passions. Our next senior to spotlight is Mackenzie! Since joining Reach Cyber Charter School six years ago, Mackenzie has thrived both in and out of the classroom. She has been recognized in this year’s top 5% of her academic class, completed honors courses in Biology and Earth Science, and completed several career level courses in Criminal Justice and Vet Tech. Outside of the classroom, Mackenzie has been heavily involved in music, playing in jazz and marching band. She also has regularly participated in clubs at Reach such as Creative HeARTS, Pen pal, and Women in Criminal Justice. Following graduation, Mackenzie plans to attend the Western Pennsylvania School of Taxidermy. Whether it is on the stage or in the classroom, we are so proud of the successes Mackenzie has achieved.
