Join SCC this Saturday at Northwest District Park for our family-friendly Healthy Habitats Along Shoal Creek Tour on June 7th from 8:30-10:30am! We’ll have several special offerings, including a seed ball station, information about SCC’s Creekside Neighbors program, coloring books featuring Shoal Creek flora, and our NEW wildlife spotting guide made by SCC’s Spring 2025 Sustainability intern, Mallory Fogt! We had such a great time during our Birding Tour along Shoal Creek this past Saturday! Special thanks to Brad and Mary Ann from Travis Audubon for sharing their passion and knowledge of all of the birds in the area. On our tour, we saw many birds including a pair of Red-shouldered Hawks, a Great Horned Owl, a preening Great Blue Heron and a Red-bellied Woodpecker to name a few!
