Providing Immediate Needs and Empowerment services to help people become self-sufficient Our mission is to increase the economic self-sufficiency of people experiencing poverty in the Midlands through crisis assistance and sustainability programs. Our services extend to eight counties in central South Carolina.

On Tuesday evening, May 6, Beth Irick, CEO of The Cooperative Ministry, presented a program for the United Women In Faith at Shandon United Methodist Church. Armani Stackhouse and Codell Tillman, two graduates of our Financial Empowerment Program, joined Beth in the program. Both ladies met with one of our financial health coaches to work on financial goals related to economic self-sufficiency.
