On Tuesday evening, May 6, Beth Irick, CEO of The Cooperative Ministry, presented a program for the United Women In Faith at Shandon United Methodist Church. Armani Stackhouse and Codell Tillman, two graduates of our Financial Empowerment Program, joined Beth in the program. Both ladies met with one of our financial health coaches to work on financial goals related to economic self-sufficiency. The Cooperative Ministry manages a small emergency food pantry and provides shelf-stable food bags to clients through our clothing bank. The pantry is fully supported by donations from churches, organizations, and individuals, and by volunteer manpower. This week, we were blessed by a volunteer team from Richland County's Employee Resource Group (ERP) for Young Professionals. This team helped stock donations in our food pantry.
