It accomplishes its mission by establishing and maintaining a recognized and credible credentialing program that evaluates the competency of the practitioners. Established in 2000 by the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy IACT a voluntary notforprofit organization. Founded by agroup of therapists who recognized the need to formalize the training and credentialing of those who perform colon hydrotherapy.
