Austin's Black Cultural District is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating the African American heritage of Central East Austin Preserves the rich heritage & cultural contributions of East Austin's historical African American community through social programs and economic dev. Six Square's mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural legacy of the African American community that once thrived in Central East Austin.
