Minglewood Farm and Nature Preserve Our Mission Minglewood Farm and Nature Preserves mission is to connect students of all ages to the natural world and inspire a sense of environmental stewardship through placebased learning in the Piedmont and Foothills of North Carolina. Our Vision Minglewoods vision is to guide students through outdoor educational experiences to cultivate lifelong environmental engagement and empower them to become the future stewards of the planet. What We Do Minglewood Farm and Nature Preserve is a nonprofit organization focused on bringing students out of the classroom and into nature. Over the last 32 years Minglewood Farm has been growing pesticidefree produce and flowers for the surrounding area along with managing a large native hardwood forest .
