Light of the World's mission is to shine the light of love and hope into the dark battle of childhood cancer by providing community and friendships that last a lifetime. We bring light to the fight by supporting Southern Nevada families practically, spiritually and emotionally. Practical SupportFamily assistance financial grants Gift cards for groceries, gas and suppliesBlessing Bags of toys or a gift card for the child or adolescent who is fighting as well as for the siblings. Holiday special assistanceEmotional SupportComfort Coolers for the caregiver/ warrior mom delivered by an all warrior mom (cancer mom) blessing team to assist the newly diagnosed family to get used to their new normal. Support groups both in person and online for warrior (cancer) Moms and Angel (bereaved) Moms We provide friendship and community amongst the Moms. Spiritual Support 24/7 Prayer team, Inspirational conferences for Moms Light of the World is an all-volunteer organization and is completely reliant on donations to to ease the burdens of the families we serve.
