Our rescue, Diamond in the Ruff Rescue, in the Ruff Rescue in 2014. We are a 501c3 based here in Marshall County, but cover Central Iowa and sometimes way beyond. We have no paid staff or facility, we are strictly volunteer home based. Our rescue is run by an all-volunteer Army of people who are passionate about dogs and cats. We have a different mission and vision in our rescue from your typical animal shelter, but we all have the goal and that is to save as many furry friends as we can!Since are a foster/volunteer based rescue which means all of the dogs and cats that we take in as strays, or as owner surrenders, are placed in a loving home environment.
