It is also a directory of nearly 11,000 animal shelters and adoption organizations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Organizations maintain their own home pages and pet data. TO RESCUE POODLE AND POODLE MIX CANINES THAT ARE STRAYS, PUPPY MILL DOGS OR FROM OWNERS THAT NO LONGER WANT THE ANIMAL. TO PROVIDE CARE AND MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR THE DOG UNTIL THEY CAN BE RELOCATED TO NEW OWNERS. TO ASSIST LOCAL MUNICIPALITITES AND ANIMAL SHELTERS IN THE PLACEMENT OF THESE CANINES.
